Today was a very exciting day because now we're off of school for 2 weeks! I'll start at the beginning of the day. Today, we came into the gym, got in our class lines, and waited for Mrs. Truby to come and get us. Every morning , Mrs. Truby has to take Mrs. Granell's class up to their classroom. To do that she always says, "Granell." Oh yeah, I forgot, the reason Mrs. Truby has to take Mrs. Granell's class up is because Mrs. Granell has to monitor the gym until every class is dismissed to their classroom. After I unloaded my backpack and put the stuff that I didn't need in my locker, I started working on my easy morning work.
At about 8:30 or 9:00, we started grading our Sip 'n' See projects. At probably 9:30, we started putting LEGOS back in boxes so that we could return them to W.S.U. from 10:00 to 10:45, we watched The Sound of Music on the SMARTBOARD. At 10:45, we went to P.E. In P.E., we played volleyball. P.E. ended at probably 11:20. At 11:20, we re-hydrated and went to Computer Lab. In Computer Lab, we did a typing program, and watched videos about George W. Bush's dogs. Computer Lab ended at 11:55. At 11:55, we went back to class and watched The Sound of Music some more.
At 12:15, we had lunch. For lunch today, we had fish stick sandwiches. Lunch ended at 12:30. At 12:30, we had recess. At recess, I played football. Recess ended at 1:05. At 1:05, we went to band. In band, I play the flute. Band ended at 1:35. At 1:35, we went back to the classroom and did a worksheet.
At 1:45, we went to Spanish. In Spanish, we watched Madagascar in Spanish with English subtitles. At the end of Spanish, Senora Perazzo gave us candy because this was the last day until Christmas Break.
Right after Spanish, we had our Christmas Party. At the beginning of the Christmas Party, we paired up (paired up with Emme), locked arms with our partner, and wrapped present for the teachers, Lower School administrators, and the Lower School secretary. Emme and I were the first ones to wrap our present. Our present went to Mrs. Amos, the counselor/Science Lab teacher. The rest of the party, we ate snacks, Mrs. Truby opened presents, and we each opened a present from Mrs. Truby. Mrs. Truby gave us bucket-thingies to hold our stuff in.
